Patrouille Suisse flies in Grenchen and Altenrhein

In recent weeks and days, there have been contradictory reports about the air shows in Grenchen and Altenrhein. It is now clear that the Patrouille Suisse will be on display at both locations.

Although the much-heralded "Airshow Grenchen" will not take place in this form, aviation enthusiasts will not be left empty-handed on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11. Under the title "Friends and Wings", a new organizing committee is holding a two-day airfield festival. The PS will carry out its training on Friday and present its program on Saturday as part of a reduced air show. According to Andy Bourquin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grenchen Airport, an event is now to be organized in which the players at Grenchen Airport will also take part.

The fate of the anniversary air show was also hanging by a thin thread "100 years of Altenrhein" from August 28 to 30. For a long time, the permit required for the air show from the state of Voralberg was missing. It is now clear that this airshow, in which the Patrouille Suisse will also be taking part, can go ahead. Advance ticket sales are due to start in the next few days. The AeCS will also be present at both events as part of its 125th anniversary celebrations. Just one week later, the popular PS will be on display at the "Flügerchilbi Bleienbach" on September 6. The final appearance in 2026 will take place on September 12 at the Birrfeld Airfield Festival.

Bravo, that's very good, we aviator friends are very happy!
The biggest nonsense was to skip the shooting ... THIS WAS THE GREATEST FITNESS EVENT FOR YOUNG AND OLD !!!
Those who made the climb were rewarded with unique flying displays!!!
Those who know the ascent are always amazed at the old-timers who scramble up there. I made it up from the Alp in 50 minutes when I was 78, but there were older people who needed almost 2 hours ... that wasn't decisive, but it was a personal success for everyone.
