What does the AeCS do for me?
The AeCS is pleased to be able to offer its members an exclusive special offer in cooperation with the Swiss digital pilot's logbook capzlog.aero. To mark the 125th anniversary of the AeCS, all members will receive a 20% discount on capzlog.aero. Whether gliding, helicopter flying, motorized fixed-wing flight or ballooning, capzlog.aero offers pilots and drivers from all sectors a certified solution.
With this cooperation, capzlog.aero and the AeCS are also sending out a signal following the decision by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) to discontinue the previous "FOCA dLogbook". This was long regarded as the gateway to the world of digital flight logbooks. capzlog.aero will continue the "dLogbook" brand and will continue to provide a reasonably priced service under this name. This makes it particularly attractive for beginners and young pilots.
Regardless of whether you opt for dLogbook, Premium or another subscription, you are legally on the safe side: In addition to the classic paper logbook, capzlog.aero remains the only digital solution officially accepted by the FOCA for keeping a pilot's logbook (see FOCA accepted digital logbooks). At the same time, all flight data is stored securely on servers in Switzerland.
In addition, you benefit from numerous integrations with reservation and planning systems such as Aircraft Info Desk, AirManager, FlightLogger and others. FlySto also supports direct connections to avionics and navigation software such as ForeFlight or SkyDemon.

Redeeming the discount as an AeCS member
Send an email to support@capzlog.aero with the subject "AeCS Discount" and attach your membership card as a PDF or image file.
You will then receive a personal discount code that you can use with your next order on capzlog.aero can redeem.

Reduction on landing fees in Altenrhein
The St.Gallen-Altenrhein airfield is celebrating its 100th birthday this year.ag, the AeCS can look back on 125 years. In the double anniversary year 2026, Altenrhein airfield is offering a special package for AeCS pilots.
For 2026, the airfield is offering all AeCS members a discount of 30% on landing fees. This applies to aircraft weighing less than three tons. The discount, which also applies to all members of the Aero-Club Ostschweiz, can be obtained from the C-Office on presentation of a membership card. This discount cannot be combined with any other published promotions.
