Airspace restrictions G-7 summit in Evian
France will host the 2026 G7 Summit in Evian-les-Bains from June 15 to 17, 2026.
During this period, airspace will be restricted for visual air traffic, non-commercial instrument flight traffic and unmanned aircraft in western Switzerland. The airfields of La Cöte (LSGP), Montricher (LSTR), Bex (LSGB) and Yverdon-les-Bains (LSGY) will be closed. The restrictions will apply from Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 13:00 LT, until Thursday, June 18, 2026, 03:00 local time.
This is currently a maximum framework. The periods for activating and deactivating the exclusion zone will be announced by NOTAM and will apply in accordance with the regulations in force on French territory.
According to the latest information, the exclusion zone will be activated as follows:
- Wed, June 10 and Thu, June 11, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Fri, June 12, 2026, from 09.00 to 12.00 a.m.
- There are no restrictions on Sat, June 13 and Sun, June 14.
- The exclusion zone will then be activated from Monday, June 15, in the morning until Thursday, June 18, 03:00 LT.
Commercial IFR and VFR civil flights to and from Payerne (LSMP) are permitted. Flights at Môtiers (LSTO), Ecuvillens (LSGE) and Saanen (LSGK) aerodromes are permitted, subject to compliance with defined routes.
