Saturday is family day
Saturday will be the visitor and family day for all aviation fans: "The absolute highlight for the public is the traditional air show, for which we have put together an expanded and even more spectacular program," emphasizes Tobias Bretzel. The program will be complemented by new Creator Panels, where aviation influencers and content creators will address young aviation enthusiasts in particular, as well as a Kids Area specially designed for the youngest visitors. On Saturday, reduced family tickets will be available at the box office for 39 euros.
Airshow with Meet & Greet
The AERO Airshow has been one of the most popular attractions at the trade fair for years and attracts thousands of onlookers every year. This year it will take place on Saturday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The show kicks off with the Flying Bones, who transform the sky above the exhibition grounds into a stage with breathtaking parachute jumps. Then Nico and Ralf Niebergall take over: father and son fly in close formation on two Siai Marchetti SF-260s and demonstrate the precision and harmony with which two pilots can act as a team. The legendary Flying Bulls will provide the crowning glory: pilot Mirko Flaim will demonstrate at the controls of the iconic BO-105 what a helicopter can do in the right hands, with loops, rolls and highly dynamic maneuvers that can otherwise only be seen at a few airshows worldwide. This will be followed by a meet & greet with the airshow pilots on the Business Aviation Dome Stage from 2 to 3 pm.
Exhibitors from Switzerland
The list of exhibitors at this year's AERO also includes numerous Swiss companies. For example, Light Wing AG from Stans, which can be visited in Hall B3-303. The ZHAW School of Engineering will be exhibiting together with partner companies such as capzlog.aero. You can find out more about sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) at stand 215 in hall A5.
