Great weather for Rigi Air Classic
If you want to get a taste of the airshow season on Whit Sunday, the best place to go is Central Switzerland, or more precisely the Rigi.
For technology fans, the coming Whitsunday brings a highlight on Mount Rigi: historic trains and around 20 historic aircraft will be on display in summery weather. More information at Rigi Bergbahnen.
After the popular classic car parade on the Stanserhorn could no longer be held for "sustainability reasons", the Rigi is an ideal replacement. On the summit of Rigi Kulm, a whole range of flying jewels will be on display on Sunday from around 13.30, from historic gliders to the P-51D Mustang or a C-47 in the colors of the USAAF.
On the "ground", especially at the Rigi Staffel station, various historic trains of the Rigi mountain railroads can be seen. Like the air show on Rigi Kulm, this event will also be commented on live.
