Athletes' reception at the Federal Palace - AeCS well represented

Numerous members of the AeCS were also present at the traditional athletes' reception at the Federal Palace. Athletes from the model flying, balloon and parachute disciplines were honored for their international achievements.

Federal Councillor Martin Pfister, Head of the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), invited Swiss athletes who have been successful at the World and European Championships to a reception on 6 October 2025.

The medal winners from the parachuting, model flying and ballooning disciplines were also well represented. Thanks to this event, a wider audience also learned about the successes of our members who have achieved international success in the three above-mentioned disciplines.
