Positive outcome of Electrifly-In Switzerland
The Electrifly-In Switzerland, which was held at the federal air force base at Bern Airport at the weekend, was once again a success. The event was all about sustainable aviation and was attended by hundreds of interested people from Switzerland and abroad.
Airfield manager Andreas Seitz was delighted to be able to host Electrifly-In Switzerland once again and thanked the organizers for their commitment. In her opening speech, Astrid Bärtschi, member of the Bernese cantonal government, encouraged the pioneers to continue their research. The future is not predicted, it is made.
Rolf Stuber (CEO Smartflyer AG, right) and Axel Doffey (European Sales Manager H55 SA, left) came up with a surprise. They signed a cooperation agreement in front of around 100 invited guests in the federal hangar. According to the agreement, H55 will supply the batteries for Smartflyer's SF-1 hybrid electric aircraft.
