Airspace restrictions G7 summit in Évian

From Wednesday, June 10 to Thursday, June 18, there will be airspace restrictions in the Lausanne/Geneva area due to the G7 summit in Évian les bains (FR). 

Airspace will be restricted from Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 1 p.m. local time, until Thursday, June 18, 2026, 3 a.m. local time. The restriction affects a zone around Évian, Lausanne and Geneva International Airport. The Swiss Air Force, in collaboration with the Geneva cantonal police and the French Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace the air police service and increased airspace surveillance.

The airspace restriction applies to visual flight traffic and non-commercial instrument flight traffic. Unmanned aircraft are also affected. The AeCS is trying to obtain certain exemptions from the authorities for individual airfields. However, we recommend that all airspace users take this data into account in their planning now.
