Photo competition for AeCS members
The Aero Club of Switzerland is celebrating its 125th anniversary next year. We invite you, dear Aero Club member, to take part by entering our photo competition. We are looking for the most beautiful impressions depicting Swiss light aviation in all its facets. The six best pictures relating to Swiss light aviation will be published as posters in next year's six issues of AeroRevue.
We are looking for the six most beautiful pictures with a connection to the versatile Swiss light aviation with hot-air balloons, parachutists, motor and gliders, model airplanes or helicopters. From the pictures received, a jury will select the six most beautiful subjects that meet the technical requirements. These pictures will be published in "AeroRevue" issues 1 to 6/2026 as a centerfold poster and will be rewarded with 150 francs. As the photographer, you will of course be named as the author of the picture on page 5.
Conditions of participation
The images are intended to relate to the diverse field of Swiss light aviation and show hot-air balloons, parachutists, motorized and gliders, model aircraft and helicopters. The publication as a 42.6 x 30.3 cm center poster requires pictures in Landscape format, with a good camera that high-resolution images have been produced. Slight editing of the images is fine. However, the images must not contain logos, watermarks, frames or the like; compositions created with artificial intelligence are also out of the running.
You can send us the photos in original size as JPEG, TIFF or PSD with the note "Photo competition 125 years" by e-mail to aerorevue@aeroclub.ch send. You can use wetransfer.com or swisstransfer.com to send the images loss-free. It is important that you include your surname and first name as well as an e-mail address where we can still contact you in a few months' time. Eligible to participate are exclusively for Aero Club members. A maximum of three pictures per person may be submitted, which we will save under your name.
The deadline for entries is November 17, 2025.
No correspondence will be entered into about the competition.
