Switzerland has a new jet scale world champion

Success for the Swiss jet scale team at the World Championships in Norway. The 32-year-old Andreas Schär from Rothrist has won the world championship title in the Jet Scale 20kg class. The six-time Swiss champion was able to impress with his D.H. 115 Vampire both in the air and in the construction evaluation. And that's not all: Alfred "Fredi" Doppelhofer confidently took third place with his F-104 Starfighter. The former Swiss and military pilot has also been an enthusiastic model airplane pilot since 1970. The AeCS congratulates the Swiss Jet Scale Team to his outstanding performance.
