SUST Publishes New Prevention Bulletin

Since 2024, the Swiss Safety Investigation Authority (SUST) has been publishing prevention bulletins. These bulletins contain information about incidents for which no investigation was opened. The latest bulletin, No. 2026/2, has just been released.

The prevention bulletins published by SUST contain relevant information within the meaning of Art. 56 VSZV, which serves to prevent accidents and serious incidents. The information was obtained during preliminary investigations of incidents for which, for reasons of efficiency, no formal investigation was initiated.

Contribution to Safety Awareness

The prevention bulletins are organized chronologically and cover those incidents for which preliminary investigations were completed by the end of the respective quarter. The information is not intended to be exhaustive, has been anonymized, and is intended to contribute to safety awareness among the relevant stakeholders.
