Il sei volte campione svizzero \u00e8 stato in grado di impressionare con il suo D.H. 115 Vampire sia in volo che nella valutazione della costruzione. E non \u00e8 tutto: Alfred \"Fredi\" Doppelhofer ha conquistato con sicurezza il terzo posto con il suo F-104 Starfighter. L'ex pilota svizzero e militare \u00e8 anche un appassionato pilota di modelli dal 1970.
