Tuttavia, anche i piccoli aerei a motore hanno bisogno di combustibili fossili - almeno fino ad ora. Anche se l'aviazione leggera in Svizzera rappresenta solo una parte trascurabile delle emissioni di CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0produzione in Svizzera (circa 0,03 % in relazione ad AVGAS e MOGAS), molti attori dell'industria dell'aviazione leggera stanno prendendo sul serio la loro responsabilit\u00e0 e promuovono innovazioni e sviluppi che rendono l'hobby e la professione pi\u00f9 rispettosi dell'ambiente, ove possibile.
