Pourtant, m\u00eame les petits avions \u00e0 moteur ont besoin de combustibles fossiles - du moins jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent. M\u00eame si l'aviation l\u00e9g\u00e8re ne repr\u00e9sente en Suisse qu'une part infime des \u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0(environ 0,03 % pour l'AVGAS et le MOGAS), de nombreux acteurs de l'aviation l\u00e9g\u00e8re prennent leurs responsabilit\u00e9s et encouragent, dans la mesure du possible, les innovations et les d\u00e9veloppements qui rendent les loisirs et le travail plus respectueux de l'environnement.
