{"id":23860,"date":"2025-06-10T07:34:03","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T05:34:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aeroclub.ch\/?p=23860"},"modified":"2025-06-11T13:22:05","modified_gmt":"2025-06-11T11:22:05","slug":"flugplatz-kaegiswil-wehrt-sich-gegen-rega-aussagen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aeroclub.ch\/en\/flugplatz-kaegiswil-wehrt-sich-gegen-rega-aussagen\/","title":{"rendered":"K\u00e4giswil airfield defends itself against REGA statements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The operator of the K\u00e4giswil airfield, the Obwalden Airfield Cooperative FGOW, is defending itself against REGA's statements and continues to fight for the preservation of the airfield.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\"A solution to meet the requirements of the airfield cooperative, the Rotex company and Rega would be possible,\" says Bernhard M\u00fcller, project manager for conversion at FGOW, which currently has around 200 cooperative members. \"But Rega is giving us the cold shoulder.\" It would have been possible to work with partners to expand and continue the existing facilities at K\u00e4giswil airfield. However, Rega's current project is a completely new facility, which means that the conversion process has to start all over again with some changes to the regulations, for example in the area of noise, which experience has shown takes a lot of time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\"We regret the misrepresentation by Rega and are disappointed by their behavior,\" states FGOW President Thomas Geissd\u00f6rfer. From the FGOW's point of view, a joint solution is still possible. However, Rega's approach clearly shows: \"They want to displace the location of the flight schools and eliminate the important pilot training platform 'K\u00e4giswil Airfield' in Central Switzerland\".
