The delegates of the Aero Club of Switzerland were guests at Langenthal Airfield on March 29, 2025. In addition to the statutory agenda items, the farewell to Secretary General Yves Burkhardt was the focus of the delegates' meeting.<\/strong><\/p>

Shortly after 10 a.m., Yves Burkhardt welcomed around 140 delegates, guests of honor, invited guests, the Board of Directors and employees to the hangar at Langenthal airfield. In his welcome address, Central President Matthias Samuel Jauslin spoke about the fusion of man and machine, before Michael Weinmann interviewed the successful air sportsmen and women of 2024, who were honored by the AeCS.<\/p>

The Secretary General says goodbye<\/h4>

In just under a month, Yves Burkhardt will be taking his more than well-deserved retirement (see article in \"AeroRevue\" 1\/2025, p. 52 ff). His long-time friend and AeCS communications officer, Urs Holderegger, thought about interviewing Yves instead of giving a laudatory speech and looking back on his life and career in this way.<\/p>

After the subsequent culinary refreshments, there was an opportunity to explore the Oberaargau Aviation Museum with an expert guide.<\/p>
