The Aero Club of Switzerland (AeCS) is the umbrella organization for Swiss light aviation and air sports. <\/strong><\/p>

The AeCS is committed to its approximately 20,000 members at all levels. It advocates for the needs of the 35 regional associations and eight divisions and actively exerts influence in various committees. It operates a political network and communicates internally and externally.<\/p>

The AeCS combines aviation expertise in all the areas it supports. The focus is on the interests of light aviation and air sports disciplines. As a sports association, the AeCS is a member of the FAI (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration A\u00e9ronautique Internationale<\/em><\/strong><\/a>), the World Air Sports Federation and at European level with Europe Air Sports (EAS<\/em><\/strong><\/a>). The umbrella organization exercises national sporting sovereignty over all air sports in Switzerland and is a member of the Swiss Olympic Association (Swiss Olympic<\/em><\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>

The challenges facing the Aero Club of Switzerland are manifold and will continue to increase in the future. In all its activities, the AeCS is based on five main pillars. These form the main strategic areas of the AeCS:<\/strong><\/p>
