This requires participation in various committees and project groups as well as active involvement in consultations. As an active powered aircraft pilot, our Head of Airspace, Chrigel Markoff, is very familiar with the complex subject matter. It is sometimes difficult for the AeCS to identify all or the right contact persons or airspace users concerned. For this reason, the AeCS has recently started sending all consultations via a distribution list by e-mail to clubs, groups, airfields or interested private individuals. Anyone who has a legitimate interest in a proposed airspace change can reply to the e-mail within the specified period and propose corresponding change requests.
