The members also have qualifications in sports medicine and nutritional medicine. Some of the members also work as aeromedical examiners (AME) and therefore have special expertise in the field of aeromedical assessment.<\/p><p>Thanks to this interdisciplinary composition, the AeroMed department can comprehensively assess medical issues in aviation and provide expert advice to the Swiss Aero Club and its members.<\/p><p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; color: #0d1a28;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; color: #000000;\">The central tasks of the department include in
